Steven J. Satta is a Professor of Voice and Acting in the Department of Theatre Arts at Towson University, and serves as the Director of Towson’s MFA program in new and devised performance.

They are members of The Dramatist’s Guild, The Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE) and has been a member of Actor’s Equity Association.

In 2009 they co-founded Iron Crow Theatre Company - the first queer theatre in Baltimore - and served as Artistic Director until 2015.

Steven holds a BFA in Acting from NYU Tisch and an MFA in Acting from York University in Toronto CA. He also received a University Diploma in Voice Teaching from York, where he was trained by David Smukler.
